At Havenstone, we cultivate gardens in the english cottage tradition;
gently untamed and quietly enchanting, and at home in the place they belong.
We create, plant and care for gardens that feel as though they have settled in over time.
We are drawn to gardens that feel unhurried. Self-seeded foxgloves against old stone, perennials given room to wander, a path that curves because a crabapple was in the way. The best gardens keep a little wildness about them.
Every commission begins with a long walk around the place. We listen to what the site is already doing, note where the light falls, and build from there. The plan follows the garden, not the other way around.
We work closely with a small number of clients each year so that every project receives the attention it deserves, from the first sketches through the years of growing in.
